Recruiting new members is essential to the continued growth and well-being of your council and the Order. Offering a man membership in the Knights of Columbus gives him the opportunity to improve his own life and community. On the weekend of March 16-17 – in honor of our founder, Father Michael J. McGivney – your council and all councils throughout the Order are urged to conduct a membership drive at the local parish. Follow this drive with an open house and then a First Degree exemplification.
Visit kofc.org/drive for a step-by-step plan on how to organize your recruitment program.
To support your efforts, these new recruitment materials are now available from the Supply Department and can be ordered using a Requisition Form (#1):
- Guide to Recruitment Success booklet (#10098)
- 24 Hours Can Change Your Life When You Join the Knights of Columbus brochure (#10099)
- Why You Should Become a Knight brochure (#10100)
When you recruit a new member, you not only help your council and the Knights of Columbus to grow, you are also offering him the opportunity to help those in need, serve his parish, grow in his faith and have exclusive access to top-rated insurance protection for his family.
